While I don’t meet robots everyday 🤖(see last post), for me, the highlight of the Emerald City Comic Con was visiting the booth of my favorite Seattle Artist-and-Poet-of-Whimsy, Vikram Madan. Shown here are a couple of items he gifted me, which I wore and waved proudly for the rest of the event. Thank you, Vikram!
New Robot Friend
I made a new friend today at Emerald City Comic Con. ❤️🤖❤️We made plans to meet up at the Ace Hardware for a bite of lunch and some gossip.
Seattle View from Kerry Park
Seattle selfie with the hubby on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Sure, it’s a little overcast, but not so much as to cover up Her Royal Highness, Mount Rainier. ️🏔🏙 If you squint at the space above my head you can see her. For visitors to Seattle, we took this pic in Kerry Park. It’s one of the most popular places to get a photo of the Space Needle, the cityscape, and Puget Sound—and if you’re lucky, our beloved Rainier.
French hen and Vintage Blazer
The sweater-fied French hen with the pink beret stayed cozy warm tucked beneath my vintage wool blazer. I came *this close* to wearing my own newly acquired pink beret from the magnificent @maisonlamacon but decided that might be too much beret for one outfit. Stay tuned, though.

Satin and Flannel
I don’t naturally gravitate toward satin and lace, but satin and flannel? I’m all in.

Truffle Hunting with a Dog!
Those aren’t bear poops on the hood of that car. They’re genuine dog-hunted black truffles from the fertile grounds of this here Pacific Northwest! 🌲⛰ Yes, ma’am, we went truffle hunting with Truffle Dog Company and, after more than 2 miles tromping around the woods with Gator-the-dog, we had about 2 pounds worth of beautiful-smelling …
Clark Kent in Stripes
It turns out superhero boots can be worn with other outfits. I call this my “Clark Kent in Stripes and Faded Jeans” look. I should have added glasses, though. Then no one would know it was me!
Superhero Boots
Thanks to Janie, the vintage marvel from Vintage and Velvet Clothing on eBay, I now have superhero boots. ️️ Now I just need the rest of my super outfit. 🤓🦸♀️🦹♀️ And a superpower. ️☄️🌬🤹♀️
