Instagram Files

One of those nasty cold bugs got hold of me a couple of weeks ago. It pummeled my body and left me to wither, whine, and cough up a lung for more than a week. I was in Phoenix at the time, there to spend time with family. The visit included my 95-year-old grandmother who had flown in from Dallas.

Family Reunion Selfie, pre-sickie.

I’m happy to report that I did spend quality time with my family before I got sick. I’m also relieved that Hubby and I were the only ones to get sick. No one else in our families got it.

The timing of that little set-back meant I wasn’t able to return to Seattle as planned. I’m better now but I’m behind on projects and blog posts. To make myself feel somewhat productive, I bring you the Instagram Files–a replay of some of the more recent fun I’ve shared on that social media platform. I hope you enjoy it.

Voyage Phoenix Magazine featured Petite Over 40 twice in the last several months. You can imagine how excited that makes me. To read their features, click here and here.

Kim is an excellent instructor who leads her classes with gentleness and kindness. More about her classes and retreats at ioystudio.com.

The photos above and below were taken this past fall when Amy from Sassafras, Maggie from Blue Hour Photography, and I teamed up to cover local boutiques on First Avenue in Seattle. My post about Sell Your Sole Consignment is here. The article about the Federal Army Navy Surplus is here.

That’s it for now! I hope you’ve enjoyed this little replay.

Here’s hoping you’re all well. May the fresh colors of spring brighten your days wherever you are.

That very first photo of the floral coat has me salivating!! I love the print!! Is it a brocade? Does it have a nap? It looks so beautiful on you and I really don’t even care that you haven’t shown us the front view!!
Being sick while visiting is a huge bummer! I’ll bet you were especially concerned about passing those germs on to your elderly grandmother. The shot of you all lined up on the couch is a treasure!
Did I ever tell you that I was able to join a Yoga class only 7 miles from my home? I felt incredibly fortunate given the fact that I’m a bit out in the boonies. Sadly, my lovely new Yoga teacher is now moving to Alaska. It’s really a lovely adventure for her and her young family but it leaves a few of us wondering about the 30 minute drive into Rapid City to continue our Yoga at one of the 3 studios there…
I enjoyed seeing a sample of your Instagram posts here Sherry! I’m always glad to see your happy smile and read your thoughtful postings.

    1. I thought you might like that coat, Jude! It is a brocade and it has a nap. It was one of the rarest of treasures I’ve found on Thredup.com. When I saw it, I pounced!

I’m so sorry to hear your yoga instructor is leaving you all. That is so disappointing. Will you be going to Rapid City, then? Is there hope of someone else coming to lead the class? I can’t imagine you not doing yoga.

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I love hearing from you. Here’s hoping you’ve stayed healthy and are starting to see signs of spring somewhere around there! Any interesting animal sightings lately?

      Hugs,
      Sherry

    1. Ha ha! I wish having the ability to whip up all my clothes would come so quickly! I have a long way to go, but that dress definitely gave me a boost to keep at it!

I hope you and your familia are all well!

      Hugs,
      Sherry
