Thank you, Ann! Our weather did a complete 180-degree turn. It’s now cold and rainy outside! Ha ha ha! That’s okay. It means I can create more layers! I hope you’re having a good day!
The jacket fabric? In very good condition for it’s age!
Oh! I didn’t realize I had forgotten to add the fabric of the jacket. It’s velvet! And it’s in amazing shape for its age. There is a small hold under one of the folds on the front of the jacket but you can’t see it. When I get around to it, I’ll sew it up. It also used to have a button but I actually like it open. Beyond those minor issues, the velvet has held up well! I had an old velvet dress that shed as it aged! This does not do that.
