Time for Tacos!

Seattle blogger, Sherry Dryja from Petite Over 40, poses in a Madewell sweater jumpsuit she thrifted from eBay fashion. It has been altered to fit better. She also has on a pair of blue Converse sneakers and a white long-sleeve Pact t-shirt.

It’s time for tacos at Carmelo’s Tacos in Capital Hill in Seattle! What better outfit to eat tacos than a jumpsuit made of stretchy wool? It’s Madewell, thrifted from eBay Fashion so I don’t feel too guilty sewing some “belt loops” into the waistband to pull up the bottom part, otherwise the crotch was at my knees.

I’m actually thinking of cutting it at the waist and sewing it so it’ll fit better. Just need to learn how to sew sweater material!

The Converse shoes are thrifted from ThredUP. Long-sleeve tee from eco-company, Pact. The neckerchief is way old. #notanad

  1. Cute little jumpsuit, Sherry, and I had to nod and smile about the crotch thing, which would an issue for me as well. Why, oh why don’t they make jumpsuits which are more in proportion for us petites? The belt loops are a great solution, though. xxx

    1. Right, Ann?? This jumpsuit is made for a 10-foot tall woman!

Okay. Maybe that’s an exaggeration. But still! 🙂

You look adorable! I’m a HUGE fan of Converse “like” sneakers. In my mind, they always tone down and add humor to an outfit!

    1. Thank you, Jude! I couldn’t agree more about Converse sneakers making an outfit more fun! I find myself drawn to them more and more!
