Old Home Movies

This old 8mm camera makes me want to grab some blank vintage film and make movies. πŸŽ₯🎞🀩 For now, my focus is turning these tiny cans of developed movies into digital ones I can share with family. Some date back to 1971–the year after I was born! πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘§πŸŽ₯

  1. My Dad had a 8 mm camera as well, and it’s now living with me too! Not sure if it’s still possible to get blank film. It’ll probably have expired by now … Having the old movies digitalized is such a good idea. My Dad did that a few years before he passed away, and it’s fun watching the DVD, although there are some cringing moments I’d forgotten about! xxx

    1. Ha ha! That’s so great your dad had everything transferred, even with the cringing moments! I’m wondering what cringe-worthy moments await on these. I hope to find out!

    You’re a treasure Sherry!

    1. I was so excited to find these when I visited my parents last week! You’re right about the family sharing experience. It makes me even more excited to get these transferred to digital! I think it’ll be so much fun for all of us to see these.

I hope you’re having a great summer making your own great memories!!

      Hugs,
      Sherry
