It was rainy and windy earlier today and I had a fitness class to walk to at the Downtown Seattle YMCA across town. So, I strapped on my trusty rain boots, threw on a sweatshirt and jacket, and said to Mother Nature, “Bring it.” 💪💪 Mother Nature just scoffed, blew harder on the wind, and blinded me with my own hair. 🌬🌪🌬 She also tossed city dirt in my face. 😬🥴😐 It could have been much worse, but take it from me: Never taunt Mother Nature.💨🌪💥 ☄️

The boots are old-old-old by Cole Haan. My leggings are by Zella but are secondhand from ThredUP. There is a black, sleeveless tunic tee under the sweatshirt which I bought on Amazon. And the hooded sweatshirt is from Club Pilates in Gilbert, Arizona. I also wore my trusty rain jacket (seen in a previous post) from REI (similar here).

Uh-oh! Had I known April was Mother Nature’s favorite month, I would never have thought to taunt her! But now that you mention it, it totally makes sense that she’d love this month. This is when she gets all firecrackers with colors and she wakes up the bears and she gets all jiggy with wind and temperatures and rain. I mean…it is her season of seasons! Thank you for the reminder. From here forth, I shall not taunt the Mother of Nature! 💕
