Fresh off my sewing machine: a bib dress made from vintage corduroy. 🧵🧵🧵 The look below says it all. I like it but I’m not sure it’s “me” now that I’ve got it on. At least I made fewer mistakes on this project than in the past! And I got to use a hammer to secure the bib closures. What’s not to love about that? 🧵🧵

This isn’t going to shock you. At all. But, I love the striped Tee with your bib dress. SO MUCH. But then…I do love the fun pink beret look as much, or more! Love your sandals too!
Thank you, Sue! I love stripes with overalls/bib outfits. I really really do! I just needed to find something that didn’t look like the cover of the pattern envelope! Otherwise, in a weird way, it didn’t feel like something I created…even though, I guess I did. But you know what I mean. Right? 🙂
[…] made the dress myself from a McCall’s pattern meant for super newbie sewists like myself. When I first posted about it, I wasn’t too keen about how it felt on my body. My head was stuck in the “bib dress […]
What a fun outfit, Sherry, and I am duly impressed that you actually made that cute little bib dress. I think it suits you, even if you’re not sure it is you. xxx
It looks like it turned out amazing!

It’s darling!!! I have a similar jumper in summer weight, pale yellow, denim. It’s longer because I’m almost 68 for gawds sake!
Wear it like you wear that cute adjustable/reversible skirt, with Converse All Stars!!!
